Bought a big tube of L'occitane shea butter hand cream.
It's actually out of bounds for me and my petty savings, but of all the hand creams I've tried for my dry hands, especially in the cold seasons, this has been my number 1.
It's a bit too rich and creamy to use during the day, and because of the price I use it sparingly only before I go to bed, giving my worn hands a quick, easy massage whilst I do so.
I find that in the mornings, my hands are subtle and soft :)
The normal sized packaging of L'occitane hand creams is 30ml, and the scented ones are more expensive (about 1500yen in Japan) than the non-scented shea butter ones (about 1000yen).
The 150ml sized one I bought was 2800yen in Japan, so it works out a bit cheaper in the long run.
Since I'll only be using it at home and before bed, I needn't want the smaller, scented types anyway.
As I bought it at the L'occitane store in Sapporo station I even got some free samples.
And, as I checked, L'occtiane has never and does not test its products on animals, and have been an active company in campaigning against it, it seems. The company's ingredients are safe and mostly organic, with solid company values as well as being philanthropic.
Fantastic news, yes?
If you have a bit to spare, and are looking for a good hand cream for dry hands during the remains of this winter and all year round, I highly recommend it.
